Since the last time I wrote here, I played 3 100+ games in one night at Westside Lanes, I got stoned in a natural amphitheatre, I made a girl cry by making an abortion joke with my Apples to Apples play, and I found a vest and a black t-shirt that I had been missing for some time. I need a suit-coat and a blazer and shit! Actually starting to care about how one dresses is a pain in the pocketbook.

went to a guild meeting today, talked with Martin some about setting up shop and the fort and stuff. learned some treadle hammer techniques, and also some ludicrously simple techniques for making extremely complex leaves and pinecones in iron (srsly need a swage block).
working at the fort for the next few days, probably gonna finish up the adze and work on my nailheader. I will also get some steel from Martin and work on my first hammer soon!

So, I signed up for a Something Awful forums account, because Dumbrella sucks, Jackrose/BB is usurped by #geekalliance, and Allopatrius takes about 2 seconds to read, and I stumbled across a thread. There is a guy named Todd [Something] and he sells bad t-shirts, but he also ripped off a great cartoonist named Shmorky, almost line-for-line and word-for-word. I hadn't even heard of this Todd dude until then, and he's gotten some mention around the internet since this revelation, both from Digg and Allison and other joints, but I would just like to re-iterate something. Even if this guy was not blatantly ripping off a bunch of artists of varying quality, he would still be a fucking hack.
